What forms do I need to fill out?
How do I cancel my registration?
How do I make a cabin mate request?
Do you offer any financial assistance?
Forms should be mailed to our off-season address in Boone, NC no later than Friday, May 18, 2012. Please don't mail your forms to us after the May 18 deadline. We'll be in the process of leaving Boone and moving to camp and we might not get your forms! Just bring them with you when you come to camp on the Opening Day of your session. Expect a lengthier check-in process on Opening Day if you have outstanding forms.
How do I know if you've received my forms?
Camp Evergreen will email you to confirm receipt of your forms. As the deadline approaches, it may take us a little longer than usual to email confirmations due to the large number of forms we have to process. We appreciate your patience!
What is your refund policy?
How do I donate a Campership?
You can pay your balance in one of two ways:
Option 1: Before the deadline, click the 'Log In' button on the right side of our registration page. Log in then click 'Make A Payment.' This option allows you to pay your balance using whichever card you choose.
Option 2: Do nothing! After the deadline, Camp Evergreen will process your remaining balance using the card that you originally registered with.
* Please note, we accept debit cards, Visa, Mastercard and Discover but we DO NOT accept American Express.

Cabins are assigned by gender and grade level. You will have the opportunity to request one cabin mate when you register online. Your request will only be honored if the requested camper also requests you during the registration process. If you need to add a request after you've completed online registration, contact Camp Director Katie Grady. We're sorry, but requests for multiple cabin mates cannot be honored.
Each summer, Camp Evergreen raises Campership (or camper scholarship) money to send more than 160 children to camp. We are so grateful to our donors for providing such a life-changing experience to so many children! We work with various organizations to host two Mission camps each summer at no cost to the campers. We also set aside a small amount of funding to assist campers in our other sessions. For more information about our Mission Camps, click here. Download our Campership Application here.
To send one child to camp for one session, we ask that you donate $350. However, any amount is greatly appreciated! You are given the option to donate online during the registration process. At that time, you can choose your donation amount.
Alternately, you can write a check payable to Camp Evergreen and mail it to our off-season address. Make sure to include your name and current address so we can send you a receipt. If you donate in honor or memory of someone make sure to include their name and address, and we will send an acknowledgement note.
NEW! You can now donate securely online through JustGive.org. Please note, the online donations screen reads 'Evergreen Retreat Center,' which is our official business name. All donations are tax deductible.
No, campers do not need any money at camp. In fact, we discourage campers from bringing anything valuable to camp.
Does my child need a trunk to pack for camp?
Trunks are not required for camp, however many campers like to pack in them for easier access to their clothing. Clothing will be kept inside your camper's trunk or bag underneath a bunk bed which has a clearance of 17 inches. The under-bed space will be shared by a bunk mate. Bathroom items will be kept in a small cubby in the bathroom. To see the complete packing list, please print out our Kids' Camp Handbook.
If I sign up for horseback, how many times will my child ride?
To see our daily schedule, activities offered and other details about camp life, view our Kids' Camp Handbook.

If you add the horseback option to your registration, you will pay an additional $40 for a one-time trail ride at Sunburst Stables, 15 minutes down the road from camp. Horseback riding takes place during Choice Time (we take up to 14 campers per day). Campers who are not riding that day or at all will have fun, alternate activities to choose from during that time.
