Camperships
Camp Evergreen is a place for getting away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, fostering new friendships and independence, trying new activities, and most importantly, growing closer to God.  Since the beginning, we’ve felt God’s clear call to make this experience possible for kids who could not otherwise afford it.  Each year, roughly one third of our campers come to camp as Campership (camper scholarship) kids thanks to the generous donations of church members and camp families.

This summer, Cedar Mission Camp, from June 4-8, and Frasier Mission Camp, from July 2-6, will be sessions totally funded by donations.  We hope to host 80 very deserving kids in each session from the Wilderness Works downtown Atlanta ministry, The Garden, and other local homeless shelters.  This will be our 12th year to work with the kids at Wilderness Works!  In addition, we will work with the state of Georgia to invite children in foster care placements to camp.  To make all of this possible, our goal is to raise $56,000 for Camperships this year.

We hope that you’ll consider making your “green” really count for something by donating a Full ($350) or Half ($175) Campership to the Evergreen Campership Fund.  You can make a donation at the end of the online registration process for any session, or donate securely online through JustGive.  For questions, contact Camp Director Katie Grady.  Thank you for making it possible for these special kids to come “water their roots” at Camp Evergreen this summer!
Please note, when donating online through JustGive, you will be donating to 'Evergreen Retreat Center' which is our official business name!
